Chris Carter has worked hard to create three genius shows. Everyone love "The X-Files." We all loved "Millennium." We were angry and sad when news of "Millennium's" cancellation came about. Chris had gven years worth of a great show, which had come to an end. Then, only four weeks ago, FOX aired "Harsh Realm," a show by Chris Carter that we all anticipated to see. We were all glad that we had. But now it seems FOX wants to cancel this new show. A show that would become another popular hit show. It's bad enough that "The X-Files" may be coming to an end. Most had hoped to find great interest in Carter's new show, not as a replacement for "The X-Files," but rather as a show to hopefully at least partially fill the void. Nothing will ever be the same as "The X-Files," we all know that. But Chris create a show that has gotten our rapt attention, and in time could have caused a cult following of the show. FOX didn't think "The X-Files" would be a success when they first aired it. They didn't even expect it to last more than one season. But WE did. The fans. The X-Philes. FOX took a chance with Chris Carter and made a choice seven years ago. A choice that made them very successful. Carter, and us, the fans, proved to them, and the world, what a great show "The X-Files" was, and still is. FOX should take the chance again, and at least give "Harsh Realm" a try. They have a lot to gain. We all know that. I'm sure Carter knows it. But, do THEY know it? Let's tell them and prove it before it's too late. Don't let them do to "Harsh Realm" what they did to "Millennium." Take a stand. Fans DO matter! Join the fight to save "Harsh Realm!"
Yes, you can help too, and it won't take much! Here's some things you can do to help:
1. Join the fight to save "Harsh Realm." I have created a mailing list for members. All you have to do is sign up. It's free, and you will get emails of all updates about the show.
2. Sign the petition to keep Harsh Realm! After a specified amount of time (I will post it) this petition will be sent to FOX. Your opinion DOES matter! See what others have written so far!
2. Add a banner on your website, to show your support. There are many different banners to choose from. If you have a banner idea of your own, use it! And you can send it here so others can use it to if you like.
3. Make a "Harsh Realm" website if you don't already have one. Only, make sure not to put up any files from the 'official' website, or put up media such as sounds or movies from the show. We want to get them to keep the show, not violate their copyrights. If you don't know what to put on the site, put your opinions, or maybe just a list of links to other "Harsh Realm" sites, it really doesn't matter, just show your support. Soon on this site, I will have posted some pictures that you can use on your own site. You can create a website for free at many different places, including Geocities and Tripod. Don't forget to link to this site for support! If you make a site, email me the URL and I will post the link here!
4. Tell people about it! Email people, tell your friends. Anyone you can think of.
Chris Carter gave us years of "The X-Files" and "Millennium." Now, let's give something back.
