did, but that my dad was inside with the camera. He
called to someone to go get him.
David signed my hat, and then told me that it
had the most autographs on one thing he had ever seen.
I got two pictures with David! Then he did
something I had not expected. He turned and gave me a hug goodbye, and
then kissed me on the cheek! I almost melted into a puddle right there!
I could not believe it. David Duchovny had kissed me!
I watched as the crew transformed the scene.
They moved the walls and set furniture up. I watched a different scene,
this time only with Chad.
Rob is in the living room. There is a close-up
on a bat as Rob picks it up off of the coffee table. Lifting the bat, he
walks out the door and then locks it. After a beat he unlocks it again
and kicks in the door. He screams and swings the bat around, smashing
the stereo.
When filming was finished for the day, I was
taken to see some of the X-Files sets. I saw Scully's bedroom and
kitchen. Next we went into Mulder and Scully's office. When we walked
into the hallway, it was cool to see all of the FBI stuff. Mulder's desk
was neat. I sat in his chair and looked at everything. There were
magazines, tapes, files, and all kinds of props. I also saw a few
pencils lodged in the ceiling.
On the way out of the set, I talked to Brett. I
got some autographs and a picture with him. He was really nice and
talked to me for a while.
We started back to the Ten Thirteen office
where I saw Kim and Frank Spotnitz. I gave Kim the little director alien
I had made for him. Frank autographed some stuff and posed for pictures
with me.
When it was time to leave, I walked out
smiling. This was definitely a day that I will remember for all time. |

In a few minutes it was finally time to go back
and see David! (Wow! What else can I say?) He signed some things and
asked me some questions about where I lived etc. I was so nervous that I
could barely look at him! I had a million things I had wanted to ask
both him and Gillian, but they all had been forgotten.
I gave David his gifts. He took out the poem I
had written, and read it to himself. Next he took out the alien
dressed like Mulder. He liked both and told me that he would keep them
in his trailer!
David asked me if I wanted to get a picture.

In between takes, the
stand-ins were used. I talked to Kim and got autographs from him and
some more of the crew: Michael Watkins, Bill Poe, and Chad.
Gillian walked over to me again and signed some
autographs for me! I gave her the gifts that I had made for her: a
little alien dressed as Scully and a photograph album. She laughed and
really liked the alien! In the album, I had put in various pictures of
her, along with all the pictures we took of her at the Expo, and
computer graphics I had made. She looked through the whole album!
She really liked it, and took her time looking through it.
I told Gillian that I had a gift for Piper too!
She took me back into her trailer. I gave the
gift to Piper as Gillian's agent looked at the album. Piper is so sweet!
It was really great to see Gillian being herself and playing with her
daughter.
I stayed in the trailer with them for quite a
while, and had been with Gillian for about an hour! It must have been her break because she had to shoot
another scene.
After filming the scene, Gillian came over,
gave me a hug, and said |
