And the reason that they will confess there love is beacuse, you can't go on, loving the same man/women forever if you doesn't let the person you are in love with know that you are in love with him/her.

If they are going to be on for a couple more seasons longer (every ight I pray even longer) you need to fulfill al Shippers and X-Philes alike to see them romantically involved.

Reasons: Chris Carter and the writers of the X-files relentlessly tease the viewers of their popular tv show by always showing romantic innuendos between Mulder and Scully without having the two characters ever give in to their fluctuating feelings for each other, which are present off and on like clockwork throughout the season of the x-files. Carter knows that this is the key in keeping the suspense of his viewers so that they will always ponder, will Mulder and Scully really?... And who's talking about sex? I'm not. And while viewers struggle with this question of Mulder and Scully admitting their romantic man/woman love each other (not buddy love as Carter has described it) the writers develop more scenes and storylines focusing on some romantic development between Mulder and Scully in which they do some ambiguous romantic gesture only to safely hold them back from a true and actual declaration (no not a dream or some UFO inteference or possession or mi!
nd delusion on the part of Mulder and Scully) of love. These back and forth games by the writers only show me that these romantic falsehoods are a tool in keeping viewers devoted to the show with the constant question in the back of their minds, which keep them tuning in. So I say on with it and cut the hypocrisy that Mulder and Scully are strictly platonic friends while showing episodes that leave that statement to be constantly questioned. Scully and Mulder are in love, unless they are really confused and afraid of commitment, and I doubt the latter. So lets see some definitive movement between the two and end this torture, but in fact I believe that this specualtion is very comfortable for the producers and staff of the x-files because it keeps their job as long as possible.
